Conversion Competition

Heresy-Online is having a conversion contest.  I found out about it a bit late but, I'm going to enter anyway.  Straight up conversion, no paint. 


I'm starting a Wazzdakka Gutsmek conversion.  

Started with a Deff Kopta model I had from the Assault on Black Reach.
Removed the "kopta" blades, skids, rokkits and top half of the Ork. 
The front forks are from the M-IMX6001 T-REX Robogear Model Kit.  
Originally purchased to make "killa kans" . . . then GW released the new plastics.  

Re-boot.

Trying to establish myself a build blog.
Obviously Adepticon is come and gone.

Let's start with my most recent build completion.

And so it begins . .

So, this is my first blog / build diary.
I'm planning on going to the Adepticon 2010 in Chicago and this year some friends and I are going to do the doubles tourney. Or course we decided to build a completely new army (because you can never have enough) and due to some interesting rules . . . we'll all build from the same codex. Space Wolves. This will be fun for me as I have to be the only 40K player on the planet that doesn't own a space marine army. I tend towards the evil side of things.

So, that being said . . this is the planned build.
Simple, I know. But it's only half of an army and I'm gearing towards support.

Two Squads of 10 Grey Hunters
2 Melta Guns, Mark of the Wolfen, Wolf Banner, Rhino

Two Squads of 6 Long Fangs
2 Las Cannons, 3 Heavy Bolters

I have also signed up for the 1850 point RT (because I'm crazy). My goal is to finish this build and have enough time to expand it to the RT point limit. It's a goal.
